eradicate child labour!

prologue: how will you feel if a little kid is being tortured in front of your own eyes???? here is a similar story.

story: It was the time when the sun peeps out of the purple headed mountains, acquainting the roosters to "cockadoodledooo!!!!" thereby awakening the sleepy inhabitants up to the real world. When the people were slowly waking up and making themselves ready to execute their monotonous work , there slept a little lad who was carried away by his endless dreams. In his dictionary, the word "sleep" means " luxury" the one which does not find a place in his regular routine.

"There he lays.... on the floor", one said

"yeah but look at his tattered dirty clothes. He must be cold. Poor boy!!!!" exclaimed the other

"he works hard for his living and yet finds it extremely hard to survive"commented the third.

By this time, the sun started to rise up and its slanting rays flashed at Kailesh's face. He slowly came out of his never ending dreams and opened his hazel colored eyes. As he started to glare at the sky, he started to think about himself.
about the lad: His name is kailesh. His parents were living in a village. They sent him to a town to acquire his basic education. In order to take care of his basic needs, he desperately searched for a job. Finally, he got one at a petrol bunk. His job is to fill the vehicle's tyres with air. He visits his parents once a year and finds it difficult even to post a letter to them.

Just then a stout, self centered ragamuffin began to kick him. "wake up you lackadaisical brat!!!"
people who were passing the street felt bad for kailesh as he was treated badly.

epilogue:
this is not an imaginary scene.... some children are treated badly by the evil, life sucking ones . Here is one similar story which happened in front of my own eyes. Last week i went to a nearby petrol bank to fill the fuel tank of my vehicle.
There, i saw a small boy at a corner, filling the tyres of all the vehicles with air... working as hard as he ever could.
A man saw him working hard and felt sorry for the little lad and gave a tip. The boy's face was filled with happiness and then i could see that his joy faded suddenly. He rejected the money with a sad face. The man persuaded him to accept his tip but the boy was stubborn.
Then another uncle came to that spot. He was standing a few blocks away from the air machine. The boy gently pulled the air tube towards the vehicle.
Then all of a sudden, the owner of the bunk entered the spot with ferocious eyes that I thought he has come to kill the boy!!! the owner came closer and he spank the boy on his head so hard the boy fell down to the ground. i heard the owner saying these words, " evlo dahdava sonnen indha mari pannadha nu.... ask the man to come front idiot!!! dont pull the tube towards him! do you understand me???"
The people who were witnessing this scene felt sorry for the boy and the man came closer to the machine feeling guilty. The boy was about to cry.

what is this??? can you see whats going on here?? did you see the way in which that boy is being tortured by the owner???? he is facing the same fate as that of kailesh!!! we must put an end to this. so i request my blog readers to suggest some measures which can be taken by us to punish all heartless people like that owner.

Dereka! your late!

I stared at my watch as the small hand came towards 7. I was frustrated and bored all because my friend had failed to come and meet me on time. Then , I heard a voice behind me which said " so sweet of you to wait for me." I turned back ,saw Alisha and gave her a stern look.
"sorry.. traffic jam.....", said she with a grin. I always admire the way in which she does things.
We started walking and enjoyed the outer surroundings. It was so cool to observe people and comment on them . I was busy day dreaming then suddenly Alisha shouted," Dereka!,what are you doing! don't dream... we are late for school!"
both of us ran as fast as we could and reached school when the bell was ringing. Its not that we'll always be late but something or the other will catch us.... when we observe it, then tttttttttrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiinnnnnnnggggg!!!! goes the school bell, oh no! late! and we will stand out as a part of our punishment.
But this time Alisha escaped and I who followed her was caught. so, what to do... I had to wait till the assembly gets over (sigh!) but anyway I got used to it.

When the 7th graders were coming down and standing in a line, my mind started to wander....

One day, I was playing cricket with my friends at school . One of my friend became too enthusiastic. She got so involved in the game that she tried to hit a six. Poor girl, as the school ground was too small for us and since we shared that area with the 7th graders, it flew up and fell on the first floor corridor(near the principal's office). And yes, if she had hit the ball with the same velocity in a bigger ground, one of us (or me myself) would have caught the ball in Raina's style.

Suddenly an attender saw the ball in the corridor, popped her head out and saw the greatest-us (the budding cricket players) with a cricket bat. She started yelling at us. We didn't pay much heed to it. All of a sudden, she took the ball and went away!who knows! she may have done it out of jealousy as well! When we went towards her, she asked us to apologize to the director of the school. We saw each other with "wth??!!!!" expression on  our faces.
The funny part is that the ball was just lying on the corridor, It did not even go inside the office room or hit the director and the principal on their heads. When a few of my friends apologized, they were asked to do it to the principal!! That ball wasn't ours' in the first place. It wasn't in a good condition as well. "Ek chhota aur karab ball keliye kya kya karnapadthahai!" Best thing is that if a person studies there for a few years, he/she would be ready to do anything for anything. That kind of...mm... makes us flexible isn't it? lolz!
I feel sorry about my friend whenever I think of that incident.
We get to play games at school only once a week(every wednesday). Unfortunately, our PT teacher won't be available on most of the Wednesdays and it would rain on most of the tuesday nights which would leave the ground wet on wednesdays.
My school cares so much about students' safety. Everyday, the school authorities would take a magnifying glass, inspect the ground and make sure that it is extremely dry (i.e. not having even a single trace of water on it). If it has ,then, our games would be cancelled. Hence we would end up sitting inside the classroom, doing nothing, feeling extremely bored, looking outside the window, longing to go outside and get some fresh air.

All of a sudden I glanced at the street , trees and was thinking about pollution and global warming.
nature helps us in every way. we clear forests and we make use of it for our own luxury. It is the main factor that enables us to survive but what are we doing to it in return? we are exploiting it. As a result global warming increases, species get extinct and we launch many projects and sanctuaries. we disturb our surrounding just because of our selfishness.

I felt so bored and was pining to go to my boring class as I preferred to stay at my class rather than standing there and wasting time thinking about flashbacks. After this excruciating long assembly , the students started to go to their respective classes and I saw someone coming... it was none other than Alisha herself.. I was so glad to see her as I knew that she has come there to rescue me. A rescue at last ah! Now, this is called as "real friendship". She knows that this is the 8th day of me coming late and I must meet the principal. when She came to talk to the juniors who are responsible for late comers , she gave me a sign to slip out. I blindly obeyed her instruction and went to my class.

I shamelessly grinned at my class teacher, she glared at me and I at once sat on a desk. There are totally 9 periods at school- aah my sleeping time!

usually after tolerating the school mokka.....
Alisha and I will return home late in the afternoon as both of us are active participators of the school activities. After school I return home, eat and watch tv. Suddenly I would feel someone yelling at me exactly at 4.58 "Dereka! you are late for tution!"
oh no! m late m late!
Then I'll take my cycle and I'll be off in top speed (people on the road may think that there is a cycle race going on and often mistake me for Lance Amstrong) I usually go there at 5.10 to find my tution teacher standing at the door angrily. "what ma Dereka, you'll always be late?" and here comes an agonizing long lecture again

will this go on forever? plz comment

my observations

i met three people last week... lets call them A, B , C or simply "THE THREE MONKEYS".I think i dont have to explain this term as you are already aware of it. Most people link this term with three disgusting aimals sitting or standing next to each other - one closing its eyes , 1 closing its ears n the other shutting its mouth. If you are thinking in this way then, yes! you are absolutely right!
I noticed that the mannerisms of the people suddenly change when they just enter college and believe me this change is not at all good. They think as if they are experienced in everything and give unnecessary advice to others and waste their time. their way of doing things, their way of speech etc will exactly resemble the activities of aunties and uncles in 40s.
This reminds me...I have a friend who just entered college... her way of speech and behavior is similar to that of the old lady who lives at the corner of my street. some (v. few) people do not change .. which includes - the greatest- moi of course! some of my friends ( 14 yrs) refuse to admire the creation of cartoons as they think that they are old and they are not supposed to watch cartoons.. in other words they restrict themselves.these are all extreme cases.i noticed these changes in everyone!
they are not old and they should know it and they expect others to be kind. if a group of people are frank and outspoken, they declare these people as domineering, selfish, witty etc rather than leaving it free as they only like people who are kiddish, who suddenly chants abcd rhyme just like that, talking nonsense and killing time!
when they are about to finish their childhood days people double promote themselves and they convert into adults instead of enjoying the pleasures of "the youth".

Oh! i almost forgot i started with "3 monkeys!" yup now i remember.... now coming back......
The world will improve only if they shut their respective organs... since they are in india i'll say that india will develop only if they close their specific organs. thats the main reason why i call them "the three monkeys"..

I can easily find that they do not hav brains!! 'A' is a king when it comes to gossiping and back biting ...... 'B' is a chief in eavesdropping.....'C' is a blockhead with a poor eyesight..... there are soo many reasons ( if u ask y i hate them soo much) i had a little chitchat with them (15mins) but then the way in which they irritated me ......((no words to explain)) first, they mingled with everyone well but as this new improved proverb say, "u cant judge people by their activities." well then i must be off. i already wasted enough time and i dont want to waste more by mentionning and scolding these idiots....
k den bah bye!!!

A well known paradise

It is a glory of
An everlasting beauty;

Thirty years of hard work
Is main reason for their achievement;

This place is a big enlightenment
That grabs the attention of all spectators
Travelling throughout the world.

The origin of this paradise
was by cleaning a dirty river
Through which the trade developed.

One dollar.... 50 dollars........100 dollars.....
Money and trade expanded
As this paradise developed.

Day and Night.......it worked
With an urge to succeed
To be a developed country;

The citizens followed the rules and laws
Made this little paradise clean and green.

This hard work did not go in vain,
This paradise is a reward for the citizens pain.

What place is this?
Yes, it is the one and only SINGAPORE!

Even today, the people remember
The war between
Development and poverty
Which once took place 30 years ago!

As a citizen of India
I hope that someday, even
My country will achieve this great success.

With the future citizens (like me)
Having an urge to make my country
A well developed one.
